Possible Malware on Simon's Games.com

Hi folks,
I've recently been informed that one of my sites at www.simonsgames.com, (Simon's Games), has been somehow compromized, and has some malware on it. This has meant that I must ask anyone who visits the site, not to do so until we get this issue fixed. If anyone has visited the site recently, and is concerned, I strongly recommend you run an addware scan as soon as possible. Also deleting your internet temporary files and cookies may be helpful to you.
I am of course working with my web host, to get this issue fixed as soon as possible and he tells me that it is a problem with his server. He is fixing this by moving all the files, from affected sites, from the affected server to a brand new one. This is of course being done as soon as possible.
I will also write to Jay to ask that the add for the site be temporarily stopped on the site, to prevent further clicks, until my host and I fix things.
I apologize then, for any inconvenience caused, and again, we are doing everything in our power to get this sorted as soon as possible.
Thanks,
Simon

Thank you too Nikos for your encouraging words, that really means a lot. I have a great web host, who assures me he's working as quickly as he can to get the files transfered across to the new server, so I'm optomistic that things will be sorted out very soon. I will of course let you guys know when things change, and am around if you have any questions. lol Not that I'm an expert, but I can make inquiries about things I don't know about, if that makes sense.
Cheers,
Simon

Howdy folks,
All is now clean on Simon's Games. My host has just emailed me and told me that everything has been transfered across to the new, more up-to-date server, and all is well again. So you can now visit my sites without risk. Again I would like to thank you guys for your support and encouragement, and would also like to commend my host for his very prompt actions. Now to get things put straight on there, and get some new stuff up there for you guys to play with!
As a friend of mine says, onward and upward...
Cheers,
Simon

fun girl
are you talking about that simon game link? And does it cost anything to play?

Post 10 by Albanac (I'm going for the prolific poster awards!) on Monday, 04-Feb-2008 13:39:57

Not Simon game, but Simon's Games. Called that because I own it and I'm Simon, lol. And for now, the things I program are free. The online stuff is also free. I am, however, working on a title which will be shareware, although that won't be ready for some time yet.
Cheers,
Simon

fun girl
thanks for that information. So your saying that I have to get a different software?

Post 12 by Albanac (I'm going for the prolific poster awards!) on Tuesday, 05-Feb-2008 12:54:15

Different to what? I'm confused. Here's the Deal, from the beginning, so noone is confused...
My name is Simon. I own a web site called Simon's Games. On this web site are games, and other pieces of software I have written. All of which, up to now, are free. I am, however, working on a title which will be shareware, and therefore will have a demo version, and one which will cost money.
hth,
Simon
